NISSI BEACH!!!

Located in the area of Ayia Napa, Nissi Beach is one of the most famous sandy beaches on the island. The name derives from the small islet near by the sea called Nissi (Νησί in Greek – Island). No habitants live there, but still the islet is easily accessible on foot through the surface waters. The length of the entire beach is approximately around 500 meters with its waters being crystal clear blue, hence the area has been awarded with a blue flag designation.

Nissi Beach attracts a large number of foreign and local clubbers who come to party on this area during summertime.

The area also hosts water sport activities such as water-skiing, pedal boating, windsurfing as well as two bungee jumping services. Two beach volley courts are also available in this area.

Accommodation facilities, bus, motorcycle, bicycle and car renting services are available. Traditional and other type of restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs are also available at Nissi beach.

Lifesaving equipment is offered from April to October with lifeguards being on duty every day between 09.00 to 18:00 o’clock in the evening.
